Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Mesa, AZ (100% onsite)
Department: Finance / Accounting
Reports To: Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our North America finance team. This role requires strong experience with three-way matching (PO/receipt/invoice), large vendor statement reconciliations, and inventory control payables. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, proactive, and comfortable processing a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process a high volume of vendor invoices and payment requests
* Perform three-way match between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
* Research and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams
* Perform large vendor statement reconciliations and ensure timely follow-up
* Manage inventory-related payables, ensuring accurate cost and receipt matching
* Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with AP policies
* Assist with month-end close including accruals and reconciliations
* Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
* Monitor aging reports and support payment scheduling
* Ensure tax compliance and internal control adherence
Qualifications:
* Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Minimum 2 years of AP experience in a high-volume environment
* Experience with three-way match, inventory payables, and statement reconciliations required
* Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
